Membership Information

Copies of the 2008 -2009 Property Owner's Directory  are available at the Membership Office. First copy - no charge; Additional Copies- $5 each.

Annual residential ID Cards available at Membership Office by appointment.(770) 721-7900 Assessment fees must be current to obtain cards.

Dry Storage is available for $350 Annually (770) 721-7900

Trails

 

LA Trails
  • The trails have been designed and laid out in conjunction with environmental consultants. The trails have been designed for mixed use. Walking, biking etc.
  • The Lake Shore Trail runs along the lake from old #17 thru old #3 using the existing cart path. Bikes and strollers are permitted. Approx 1.6 miles
  • The Creekside  Wilderness Trail runs from the trail head at the Great Festival Park to trail head at Broken Arrow. Hiking only. 1.4 miles.
  • The Flat Rock Trail connects  Great Festival Park with the Lake Shore Trail.Bikes and strollers permitted. Utilizes the new tunnel. 
  • We are currently constructing more trails to open in the future.We will be looping the system together as well as designated parking areas.
Trail safety tips. - Maps and tours will be available soon.
  1. Tell someone your itinerary and expected return time
  2. Pack out all your trash.
  3. Be prepared for inclement weather.
  4. Keep pets on leash.
  5. Stay on trail, do not disturb wildlife or vegetation.
  6. Wear appropriate shoes.

Contact Phone Numbers

Our Security Chief, Lee New, has provided the following contacts and numbers should Lake Arrowhead residents encounter problems in their neighborhood.

For life-threatening incidents, fire, serious injury, or any life threatening situation, also dial 911.

For criminal activity, domestic violence, theft, vandalism, burglary, assault, peeping tom, drug activity, DUI, dial 911.

For problems or concerns with domestic animals (dogs, cats, etc.) you should contact Cherokee County Animal Control at 678-493-6200.  Note:  Animal Control is a division of the Cherokee County Marshals Office.

For problems with wild animals (deer, bear, etc.) contact the Georgia Department of Natural Resources during normal business hours at 1-706-295-6040.  After normal business hours and for emergencies only, call 1-800-241-4113.

For county code violations such as excessive trash on property, junk cars, noise violations, livestock in residential areas, contact the Cherokee Marshall’s Office at 678-493-6200.

The above is not an all-inclusive list.  The best rule for residents to follow is, when a situation arises and you are in doubt as to whether to dial 911 or not – then always dial 911.


Golf Rates

Regular family/significant other memberships for property owners are $159 per month with individual membership $119 per month. A cart fee of $14.00 per golfer applies to these memberships. There is an annual commitment for this rate.

Daily rates are available for property owners and their guests at

Nonmember (F,S,S, & Holidays)   $29  $53

Senior Rate (M-Thurs excluding holidays)     $35

 *Special Monday & Tuesdays for golf club members ONLY: Golf members may bring up to seven guests for cart fee only $18 each.

 Current property owners will not have any initiation fees.

2009 Boat Registration and Rules

A decal is needed on a boat to operate it on Lake Arrowhead. The decals are available at the South Gates and the Membership Office. The following steps are required to receive your decal:

  • Complete Boat Registration form

  • Provide Copy of Insurance

  • Lake Arrowhead Photo Id card

  • Submit payment

    Motorized $50.00
    Trailer $20.00
